I had a complete hip replacement in January.
mr Parkar and his team were excellent, keeping me well informed at all times.
Mr Parkar was very attentive and went beyond what I was expecting with his care and professionalism.
Two months later I have been signed off from Mr Parkar and am completely pain free…
I would highly recommend..

I am writing to convey my appreciation of the outstanding service that I received before, during and after my knee operation from Dr Asif Parker and the Orthopedic team.
The professionalism, hard work, surgical and medical care given to me was exceptional. It has meant that my mental and physical recovery and mobility is greatly improved.
Dr Asif Parker showed himself to be reliable and dependable. Often going over and above my expectations to ensurie that I received amazing care.
I have worked as a nurse for over 40 years and am now retired. So I am fully aware of the pressures within hospitals and its staff. Moreover, realising the additional unprecedented times and stresses because of COVID.
Thank you so very much for giving me a new lease of life.

Not sure if I actually saw Mr Parkur personally, but the Consultants I saw put me at my ease and gave me good advice and explained the operation. With regard to my stay in King George’s for the operation, which I had on the 11th January, I can only give the highest praise for all the Staff. Everybody, without exception, were so kind and caring. Nothing was too much trouble, any time of the day or night, for which I am very grateful.

When I first met Mr Parkar to discuss my up and coming hip operation he put me at ease right away and spoke to me lay mans language which is just what you want at this stage.
The operation went without a hitch and he came to see me the day I was going home and had a chat to se if I had any queries or worry about the operation which I didn't have.
Had my 3 month check up he asked how I was getting on told him I had few aches which was to be expected but apart from that ever thing was fine.
If I have to have any other Orthopaedic operations I told him I would want him to do it.

Mr Parkar was trained through the prestigious Royal London Trauma & Orthopaedic training rotation programme. He has done fellowships at the Barts health NHS trust, London, Guy’s and St. Thomas’s NHS foundation trust, London and a north American fellowship based in Calgary. These are level one trauma centres and tertiary referral centre for complex Orthopaedic procedures.
His NHS practice is based at Queen’s Hospital and King George Hospital, London. His practice is mainly focussed around sports knee injuries, ligament reconstruction and computer assisted joint replacement for patients with existing deformities. He is one of the few surgeons in the country with fellowship training in performing hip replacement through direct anterior approach. He is also the infection control lead for the department.
He has been actively involved in research and has published his work in several peer reviewed journals. He has a degree in computer and robotic assisted joint replacement. He has a holistic and evidence based approach towards patients care.
Mr Parkar was awarded certificate of excellence for providing great care "I want great Care" in 2022 & 2023. He was also awarded trainer of the year 2022 through Royal National Orthopaedic Stanmore Training Programme for registrars.
